At the weekend NSEA (Nebraska State Education Association) conference, U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) tried to tell a joke:
"I drew Jon Bruning and Don Stenberg, maybe Pete Ricketts." (relating his appearance at the conference to winning a door prize)
